This Yoga Alliance–certified course (20 hours CEU) will gradually guide you through the anatomy of the entire body. We will focus on what is essential for the sense of stability, as well as on why we want to cultivate healthy mobility in the body and how all of this is reflected in the mind.
The course is structured to balance experience through a complete yoga practice – prāṇāyāma, pratyahāra, dhāraṇā, dhyāna & āsana – combined with clear theoretical understanding of the body and the neuroscience behind it. Each day begins with an complete practice that introduces the theme of the day and creates space for a deeper, more conscious understanding of traditional postures from Aṣṭāṅga Vinyāsa Yoga as well as from Ghoṣ lineage. The practice will be sequenced accordingly to both lineages, combining the two inspired by Love and All is Coming school of yoga from Talia Sutra.
Schedule:
Friday 15:00 – 20:00: will be dedicated to the topic of backbends, their influence on the nervous system, and how to approach them safely and consciously.
Saturday 09:00 – 18:00: we will focus on the stability of the legs — how to create strong foundation for any movement in standing āsanas, what influences our mobility, and why standing postures are essential for life in general.
Sunday 09:00 – 16:00 will be dedicated to the arms, shoulders and palms, preparing the students for arm balancing and inversion āsana.
Lunch break 12:00 – 13:00
In the theoretical blocks each day, we will dive into key concepts of anatomy as applied to āsana. We will work with principles of human biomechanics drawn from sports science and also touch on foundational insights from neuroscience. The training will include a clear and accessible explanation of pain theory—what pain is, how it affects us, and how it can be influenced through conscious practice—as well as work with the teacher’s language: how the way we speak shapes students’ experiences and how to communicate in a way that helps people feel safe, supported, and at ease in our classes.
This training is perfect for:
New Teachers to understand the body in the āsanas better, the āsanas themself, and also the neuroscience background to how our words impact the students – how they feel and how yoga translates to our daily life
Experienced Teachers looking to refresh their anatomy, debunking myths taught in teacher trainings, learning new approach to pain theory and biomechanics background of the traditional āsanas

Lenka Minarik is a yoga teacher based in Vienna, Austria, who traded a successful scientific career for the equally fulfilling sharing of yoga. After working in medical science for more than ten years, Lenka felt that she was unable to directly positively impact people’s lives in the way she wanted to. She longed for more direct contact with people and a deeper connection with them.
Yoga had long been a significant part of Lenka’s life and she realized that sharing her passion and knowledge of the practice with others was her true calling. Her teaching style is based on her broad understanding of anatomy, knowledge of body reading, and unique instructions for navigating the body in asana, allowing her to guide her students to find stability and shift their abilities in a safe and effective way. Her classes are designed to strengthen the mind as well as the body, and she incorporates pranayama, kriyas, and mantra chanting into her classes, creating a holistic experience for her students.
In addition to leading classes in person in Vienna and online through her website lenkaminarik.com, Lenka also organizes teacher trainings and workshops for more dedicated yoga students throughout Central Europe.
