Escape to the serene countryside of the Czech Republic for a transformative 5-day yoga retreat designed to restore your mind, body, and spirit. Surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills, this retreat offers the perfect blend of deep yoga practices, mindful meditations, and nourishing self-care.
Each day begins with a refreshing morning practice, delves into the wisdom of traditional yoga philosophy, and ends with evening yin and restorative yoga sessions. In between, you’ll savor delicious vegetarian/vegan meals made from locally sourced ingredients and unwind with peaceful nature walks, all while connecting with a like-minded community.
Whether you’re seeking inner peace, physical renewal, or simply a break from daily life, this retreat provides the perfect space to recharge and reconnect with your true self. Are you ready to dive deep? Your peaceful escape awaits in the heart of nature!
I warmly invite you to this beautiful place where we will rediscover yoga practice together, along with movement, breath, and resetting our patterns and nervous system. The retreat includes a thorough 2.5-hour morning practice, giving you plenty of time to explore poses in a way that suits you and your body.
During the day, you’ll have free time to relax, take walks, visit animals – dogs, horses, donkeys, ponies, cuddly sheep – and enjoy the sauna. In the evening, we’ll conclude with mantra chanting and restorative yoga styles.
On one of the days, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a yoga workshop with Romanka, who will be assisting me during the retreat.
Dvůr Svatá Maří – The perfect place for peace, movement, and relaxation.
I return to Anička’s Dvůr Svatá Maří since I first visited her retreat location in 2021, because I fell in love with the place.
The yoga space and dining area offer breathtaking views of the Šumava valley and hills, with stunning sunsets in the background.
The retreat center is newly built, providing cozy, spotless, and modernly furnished rooms with private bathrooms. Each room is shared with 2 or 3 other participants, but it’s also possible to arrange a private room for a small extra fee (1500 CZK). The retreat center feels more like a home away from home, it also has additional toilets and showers on the ground floor, next to the yoga room, as well as a sauna we can use for an extra fee and a small pond and natural plunge pool, perfect for a refreshing dip straight from the sauna.
Around the house, you can enjoy scenic walks and visit the enclosures with Anička’s animals, which are so calm and lovely to cuddle with. Her sheep ran straight toward me the first time I saw them – initially, I was startled, but when I realized they just wanted to be petted, I completely fell in love with them.

Lenka
is a Vienna-based yoga teacher who traded a successful scientific career for the equally fulfilling path of sharing yoga. After more than a decade of work in medical science, Lenka realized she couldn’t directly impact people’s lives in the way she wished. She yearned for direct contact and deeper connections with others.
Yoga had long been a significant part of Lenka’s life, and she discovered that sharing her passion and knowledge of the practice was her true calling. Her teaching style is grounded in a deep understanding of anatomy, the ability to read the body, and unique instructions for navigating the body in asana. This allows her to guide students toward finding stability and advancing their abilities in a safe and effective way. Her classes are designed to strengthen both mind and body, incorporating pranayama, kriyas, and mantra chanting to create a holistic experience for her students.
In addition to teaching in-person classes in Vienna and online through her website lenkaminarik.com, Lenka also leads teacher trainings and workshops for dedicated yoga students across Central Europe.
